CANADA/ALASKA

Big landscapes, vast distances, pure wilderness and pretty
much devoid of people. There is something incredibly
romantic about the Yukon River. Camping by a little
open fire, cooking up freshly caught fish, telling stories.
It was such a pure form of living.
I spent 3 months paddling a kayak with two friends
and covering over 1500km. We camped for 76 days straight,
lived with the prospect of getting eaten by a bear or lost in
the wild with little chance of being found. It was a very defining
adventure, one that taught me many lessons, brought me closer
to nature and made me understand the role I play in it.
